So the down side for me at least is the pain threshold, I’m really not too fond of pain, the reason these tattoos tend to be more painful is that there is little fat and usually when tattooing other parts of the body, the muscle area provides cushioning, not the wrist, no the wrist provides almost no cushioning what so ever, hence the reason for the more painful effect.
Another factor is that it usually takes longer to tattoo on the wrist for the reasons mentioned above so this adds to it, but for those that have their heart set on having a wrist tattoo here, this might be nothing to the excitement of having the tattoo on this part of the body. The benefits of the pain threshold, is that though wrist tattoos are popular, they will never be as popular as some of the other areas like the legs, lower back, shoulder blade or neck, so though it might be more painful, there will always be less people that actually have wrist tattoos than any other part. But this also depends on which celebrity has a design in the next coming months and years. You might have to have the wrist tattoo touched up more than other tattoos due to exposure, due to the actual area and what i mentioned above, so saying this, if you are still up for it and have read this far, i have some good news for you.
Its pretty easy to cover a wrist tattoo,
simply buy a good watch (that is if you don’t have one) with a
thick enough straps, though this might look a little funny
eight hours a day at work, but you still get to keep your job
and that all important tattoo you so desperately want. For
ladies you have another alternative, you could also wear a nice
bracelet which could go hand in hand with what you have to
wear to work.
